Installed my +0.0hp intake system that I assembled with a few essential pieces from other kits. The increase in throttle response and noise it makes is good enough for me. I used a TRD air flow accelerator, TRD air filter, and a red HPS silicon intake tube.

Yeah I did the same thing and am happy with the results (noise...). Accelerator, AEM dry filter, black HPS silicon intake tube.

 

I think I saw your HPS tube on here and that's where I got the inspiration.

Yup, that is Packer yellow. The Seahawk neon green doesn't bother me though.

 

Installed the bak revolver x2 cover yesterday and painted the emblems on my wheels today. Now the only thing chrome is the lug nuts and the emblem on the grille.

 

Got my Prinsu and Weathertech visors installed.

 

Applied my door sill inlays from @rrentrop. Another awesome purchase from a great member!

The biggest problem was deciding between red to match the pro stitching and embroidery on the headrest, or blue to match the truck. Either choice would’ve been awesome, methinks.

 

Painted my stock chrome exhaust tip with high heat engine paint. Best $15 mod yet.

 

Looks nice! I need to do this to mine this summer. Did you do anything else special besides the paint? primer, roughing it up with steel wool or whatever? Or just go to town on it with the paint?

 

Thought we were done with this stuff but apparently not...

 

New cabin air filter, yeah I splurged!

The wife's '00 TJ got new pads, rotors, master cylinder though.

 

Degreased first then scuffed the steel or chrome with 220 grit sandpaper. Applied high temp primer 2 coats. Let dry in the sun for 30 minutes. Sanded with 400 grit then applied Rustoleum
High heat black engine paint. I let it bake in the 90* heat after 4 coats each time. Then sanded and buffed with a towel. Lastly baked it on the truck for 20 minutes.

 

I found a great deal on some 2018 4Runner wheels on Craigslist. Picked them up for $375, in perfect condition. Driven on less than a month.

Will get them mounted tomorrow
