2ed gen bilstein 5100 on 3rd gen

I'm guessing this has been asked before but I can't seem to find an answer. Will 5100s from a 2ed gen work on a 3rd? What should it be set at? Also what are some peoples favourite A/T tires that are a decent price?

Yes.

Whatever setting you like. On TW it’s generally recommended to keep them at 2 inches or less.

5100s are a bit firmer than stock Bilsteins, but handling is improved with less body roll and better control in curves.

Raising the ring on the 5100s lengthens the bottom of the shock, which gives lift by pushing the lower control arm down. It doesn’t change the length of the spring once the weight of the vehicle is pushing down on the spring, which pushes down on the lower spring plate, which pushes down on the lengthened portion of the bottom end of the shock, which gives you lift.
