Wife = family CFO nothing gets spent w/o her knowing it

That doesn't keep me from spending it just slows it down.

Long run its better as I am not financially responsible and like toys :D

Trust me I am the same, just being a smart ass. I love my e locker, and fully disclosed all of my spending. My wife is cool with me putting things in the truck that are essentially recovery options. You can look at lockers like that.

My wife would prefer I didn't go offroading.

Imagine the shit I got when she found out I got a supercharger for the truck :D

This year she can't really say anything since I am doing side IT jobs to fund truck mods.

There ya go, my wife grew up in the mtns and said at least I have a toyota. She said all her friends but one had chevy’s or a Ford. And everyone gave the lone yota shit. That is till they would wheel in the snow or mud n get stuck and get pulled out by the yota...

They don't usually start complaining until there is a ring on the finger. Right @eon_blue?

Haha I haven't gotten any official complaints yet, fortunately...I'm trying to prep her well by getting her hooked on the hobby too or at least interested enough to understand why I need to spend the money sometimes lol. So far so good but once the whole kids situation comes about I expect that to be a gamechanger. Gotta get the expensive shit done quick

I did this too ahah. Girlfriend becomes serious relationship, buy jetski, then engagement ring. Get married and talk of house, spend 12gs on truck immediately, then be broke the rest of your life haha

Told the wife it's not a waste of money because I'm never getting rid of the truck.

Same same. She knows i love the truck and have been wanting to do this for years. Truth is for the truck, i just never found a place for information when i first had the money to lift it. All i could find were fabtech lifts and I didnt really have anyone i trusted to get good info about it. Tw is an amazing site, we all joke about it being a temptation to spend more moneywhich it is, but the amount of solid info on this site is a godsend for putting peoples builds in a good direction.

Gotta spend the money now before my biggest challenge is 'how in the hell do I get a child's seat in the back of this 1st gen'...

(I already know the answer to that but for now I'll continue living in denial)

Sounds good we'll talk tomorrow...err, later today. Fuck I need to go to bed
