I currently have an led bar set up with a mictuning relay and an air on board switch. I'm trying to tie the leds into the high beams so that they don't get power unless the high beams are on. I could have sworn I had found a thread like that last night but I can't find it now. The mictuning relay has five wires none of which are labeled, the switch has 4. 3 if you don't count the one for the switches light.

The switches diagram shows only one wire running from the switch to the relay to trigger it, but the mictuning relay has three wires going to the switch.

Can anyone help or point me in the direction of a previous thread? I've been looking for about 1.5 hours now and cannot find it. Thanks!

Welcome to TW! You don't list your truck in your profile, so I'm not sure what you are working with. But assuming H4, what I would do is build a mini jumper harness with a male and female H4 plug to plug in-between your OEM harness and the headlight. On the mini harness T-off the high beam power wire to your light bar relay to activate the relay. When the headlights are on, the relay is active. When off the relay is off. If you want a switch to still control light bar on/off when the high beams are on, run the switch connection in-between the mini-harness and the relay, that way the switch is low power.

I have a 96 Taco that i have wired a set of KC lights to my high beams for when I'm off roading, but i just installed a pair of LED headlights and now the output on the high beam wire is not strong enough to turn on the relay for the KC lights. I thought it was a faulty wire or plug but i put the old headlights back in and it worked fine. Any suggestions on how to make this work??? I have the hikari H4 bulbs and harness and don't really want to tap into the new harness unless it is needed
