Anyone having an issue with your radio shutting off? Recently while on the phone through Bluetooth the radio will just shut off and almost reset itself. Just wondering if anyone has had the same issue.

Yeah. It’s a thing. Mine will do it anytime I have phone plugged in to usb and Bluetooth on. Dealership could even replicate problem. They said they would order a new head unit. Every time I ask they said they will do it. 2 years later still no head unit. I gave up and just don’t plug my phone in anymore

I had this issue in my tundra all the time. It would do it almost like clockwork every hour but would actually reset the entire head unit...pretty annoying on long drives!

Mine did this quite often when new. I discovered that I would rest my thumb on the steering wheel control and unknowing press and hold the mode button. This would shut it off unexpectantly.

My 16' Tundra did the same thing but after the first few months it stopped, Dealership said they needed to see it to replace the unit, just an FYI.

Mine did it when it was new. There is a software update to fix this problem. No issues since the update.
