I try to keep my truck as clean as possible, and clean windows is definitely something that I like. I have tried many many various products trying to clean the inside of the windows. All of them seem to leave in a really annoying Hayes when they are all done. When you catch the Light just right you can see all the streaks that are left from this. The only way that I can seem to get rid of it after is by buffing the Windows like crazy with a chamois. Is there a great window cleaner that will truly be streak free, unlike the crap that I read on the bottle that says streak free.

My first thought was nope, not paying $20 for a bottle of glass cleaner. I finally tried some on sale. After using it, my first thought was "WOW". This stuff is amazing. An indulgence, but amazing nonetheless.

For me, it was a one time purchase. I just can't spend this much on glass cleaner. But if that doesn't bother you, you'll be more than happy with this product. Sounds like this is exactly what you're looking for.

This stuff works great for me and it pretty cheap. Ironically made by Stoner, do not inhale.

I also like the Invisible Glass. I also just tried a paste that really did a great job, but was a pain to buff off if it dried.

I have used this stuff many times. It cleans the windows nicely, but leaves a hazy look at times to the windows and you can see the streaks. I still use it a ton as a quick in between wash cleaner for my paint on my truck and motorcycle.

For me, key to avoiding streaks and cloudiness after cleaning glass is a final dry-wipe with a second clean, dry microfiber towel-- one that you are 100% sure has NO soap or detergent residue left in it from the washing machine. Use a very light touch. No need to scrub. And a lint-free towel works best, obviously.

My recommendation- dedicate a brand new microfiber towel to this task. After using, wash it by hand in the sink in a bowl with a couple drops of dish soap. It won't take much agitation because it's barely gonna be dirty after doing your final wipes. The key is to RINSE it thoroughly like 10 times. Then let it air dry and fluff it up by hand. You're now ready to go for next time. This way, you're not loading it up with detergent.

Edit: the blue glass towels work well for this.

I prefer Stoners Invisible Glass also. The towel you are using is key though. Pick up a dedicated microfiber towel made for cleaning glass. If you want to try something different an old school trick is using a piece of newspaper (avoid pages full of ink) as your towel.

Sprayway is the best. You can use it on a hot window and it won’t streak. Great stuff...smells good to.

Definitely the best. And when used with newspaper even better!

Unlikely. You need a specialty cleaner for that. I got mine at the tint shop.

I'll give news paper a try with the cleaners I have already. My mom used to do the house windows like that growing up.

I'm of the impression that the Tacoma OEM tint is within the glass, not ON the glass. So you can use the cleaner in and outside without worry.

Most aftermarket tints are applied on the inner glass. As such, you can use whatever cleaner you want on the outside.

I know I was just wondering if you could use it on the inside of tinted windows. I've used a few with no I'll effects over the years.

Stoners or Meguiars Perfect Clarity is what I use. Also a waffle weave glass towel. And in the shade.
