Ordered some new Methods to replace the Moto Metals I bought last month. I thought they were ok at 1st but they are a little blingy for my taste once I started seeing them every day.

You are going to love the Methods in bronze! I recommend swapping out the center caps with ones that @mesojdm makes. Here’s a pic..

Tried searching and don't want to to start a new thread. Anyone have the brake light go out on them? The running and reverse lights are fine, just one doesn't light up when braking.

I wayyy overthunk the rear diff breather mod. I wasn't happy with the droop for the line so that it didn't vibrate on something or chaff against a wire bundle or brake line. That took too long and I knew that I didn't want to drill the filler neck area. So, I did this:

    IMG_20180413_202433.jpg

    IMG_20180413_202454.jpg

Double nutted to the accessory rail bolt on the backside using safety wire pliers.

Also, I think the original breather was failed. I found a good vacuum again when removing it. Same for the filler plug when I swapped the fluid. I checked the new one with my mouth and it vented nicely in both directions.

What are you looking for. I can do it in the morning. I may have what you want on my garage computer but already in for the night. That is where all my pictures are stored.

Sitting at home with no wife and kids, vaping in the garage, bored staring at my truck, and I suddenly wanted to do something to it. Had some short strips of vinyl laying around.

Not enough to cover the whole scoop but enough to add some inconspicuous stripes to it. Yes....this is my Friday night!!!464842C6-4B23-46BA-91A7-FB163390CE38.jpg

My truck was 4 months old with 2300 miles on it when it was hit by hail. $12K in damage. My gas mileage went up until I got it fixed. I used paintless dent repair to fix mine. I didn't want them cutting my truck up and only repainting 75% of it.

Didn't do anything with my 3rd Gen other than drive it to/from work.

I checked the mileage on the way home.

The two significant things here are that:

    1) I didn't baby it on the way home....just drove it. Didn't use the cruise control that much as it's now very effective on rolling hill interstate (12 mile section) where tractor/trailers are up & down on speeds....simply drive and adjust to them.

    2) I'm now running E-Rated (heavy) 265/75r16 Firestone Destination MT tires. These are significantly heavier than the factory Destination LE rubber that I swapped out two weeks ago at 5,600 miles on my Taco. There has definitely been an impact to my mpg and this is one of the better readings I've had.

    Looks great !!!!

The local shop that did my last couple of trucks that looked perfect over the last 15 years recently quoted me similar prices for Suntek ceramic..... $150 for the front sides and $150 for the front windshield.

I'm struggling with how dark to make mine.

I want to match the factory rears in darkness & color. I also don't want to get into problems with police, either.

It’s a TRD 4x4 vinyl decal in matte black, then I also bought 2 spears in matte black vinyl off eBay. Just search it.
