    UPDATE
The noise ended up being the cross member bolts. They were loose and I was able to tighten them down today. I’ve tried to mimic them and I haven’t heard the noise.

I've done plenty of research and have lost hope. My 2014 DCSB makes a weird "click" when I am backing out of my driveway and the steering wheel is turned all the way to the right. My driveway is at an angle and I noticed that you can ONLY HEAR the noise when I am on an incline/decline, but on flat pavement, it doesn't make any noises. Took it to a 4x4 shop and the tech said it was my LCA bushings (he said my OEM bushings had a little play on the driver side) so we swapped that out and it went away for about 3 weeks, but all of a sudden it came back. They also replaced the driver side axle at the same time and everything was fine until about this past weekend. I have looked thru the forums for hours and all I read is something is either loose, diff bearing or brakes.

So far this is what I have done:
    -New MOOG LCA bushings
    -New Duralast brake PADS
    -New aftermarket axle

My icon suspension is torqued to specs. I have re-checked my entire icon suspension, LCA, and wheels and EVERYTHING IS TIGHT AND TORQUED. I have checked 10 times and they are completely tight. The noise is coming from the front driver side and it is killing me. I recently cleaned up the brake pads and it seems that the noise went down a bit. I also noticed a tiny little crack on my passenger rotor, it's about as long as a nickel, but it is not deep. Open to any suggestions at this point.

your cam tabs have flared out and theres play in the alignment cams, common from poor aligners and wheeling/ heavy springs

ok, that's a first. Is there any way to fix them or? Sorry, not too knowledgeable when it comes to alignments.

PS: I did have about 7-8 different alignments done because I was messing with my ride height. I also would wheel about 2 times a week.

Pictures of the crack on the rotor..?

I was going to suggest cv axle, but you changed that already.. if you swapped cv axle as part of this troubleshooting effort, hang onto the oem axle... aftermarkets are a poor replacement, and you maybe want to put it back.. the oem last much longer than aftermarket.. I've got 2 torn boots on both axles less than 1 yr old.. toyota cv's might be worth the extra coin..:notsure:

    but yeah.. pics
    edit:
nvm, listen to the pros, lol

This is what the beefy replacements look like. Also for removal I recommend an air hammer. I was able to get all 8 off in about 10 minutes with minimal fuss.

Here are pics of the alignment tabs. I really can't tell if they are bad or not lol but I can get pics of my rotor in a couple of min.

i use to have those clicks off roading and reverse locking until i replaced those a while back. its something i suggested to a few locals who had the same issues and their clicks went away after burning in new ones

I will definitely look into those tabs then. Just need to find a Good 4x4 shop that can do the job.

    UPDATE

Ok so I did a bit more testing on the truck and it seems like the noise is a small "clunk." You can only hear it when the steering wheel is at full lock to the right and if I am on an incline/decline AND I have to be pressing on the brakes while reversing. Other than that it does not make any noise at all. I recently greased my steering stops and all the zerk fittings and the noise is still there. I did mention that my rotor had a tiny crack on it, but I would think that if it was the rotor then I would be able to hear it when going forward also. Anyways I am just trying to make sure I take care of all the small posibilities before actually going into replacing things that require more work like the alignment tabs. I can get pics of my rotor when im out of work

I too have a clunk/click that occurs when transitioning from forward to reverse. It does not make the noise when shifting into reverse It only clunks/clicks once and only does it when reverse movement begins and the brake is applied while reversing. After the initial clunk/click then no more noise until put into drive and repeat the process again.... drives me crazy.
