    Could be the snorkel but i would reset the ecu by pulling the battery cables for an hour.

    Its normal for it to just to 18.xx when you are decelerating. There is a fuel cut and the truck is using the momentum of the driveline to keep the engine running for the most part and doesnt require enough fuel to correctly meter the afr.

    I'm trying to figure out a rather large drop in mpg. Only thing I can think of was an accidental short from fuse box positive cable to engine block while I was replacing my stock wires. Or possibly brake drag from the rear....maybe a faulty injector.....gotta figure this shit out I'm getting like 275 km/tank. Thanks for the info though. I'll start a new thread.

    Winter gas, and are u warming ur truck up before you drive? How big of a drop is that? I usually get a 10-20% drop from summer to winter driving

    I should be getting around 375 to 400 kilometers per tank.

    Do you have your instant mpg readout on torque? That will tell you if your driving habits are doing it and if so where. How are your tires? Aired up and aligned properly? Any new driveline vibrations that could be causing additional load on the engine? Have u for some reason swapped to a heavier oil or diff fluid?

    All of the above except oil. Switch tires from 265 7017 to 255 80 17 @ 34 psi. I did drive into a ditch during a bad snow storm going 90 km/h so an alignment will be necessary but I want to swap the springs on my 5100s first so I don't have to re do it afterwards. Driving habits....well.... Let's say I'm not easy on the skinny pedal. But that's always been. Recently added a 1 inch block spacer on the rear sitting at about four and a quarter lift from original height. I'll be doing a poly carrier bearing soon so I'm planning to align my drive shaft and angles at that time.

    You are also goin about 8% farther than your odo says with those 33's

    I just pulled myself out of a mpg nightmare with a spark plug change.. if its been a while, try pulling a passenger side plug to check the gap/condition.. if i am to trust my torque app I've doubled my mpg for about $30.. and maybe a little lighter foot..

    i have the elm327 mini and have not been able to get the ecu to connect.
    The red light just stays on and cycles through the phases.
    Does anyone have any input,
    I really need to scan to see what the air bag code is.

    I have the same one, it's a bit finniky.. Truck is running, or acc power on at least? Phone can find it listed in the bluetooth settings?
    You have torque or similar app running, and set to pair thru bluetooth?
    if you haven't already figured it out of course, bit late to the show, sorry.. took me a while to establish connection as well..
    even now sometimes i have to pull the adapter from the obd2port and reseat it to get it to connect to ecu.. it's picky

    I have the OBDLink LX. Works good, although sometimes I have to unplug it and plug it back in for the phone to see it.

    I just bought another elm 327 v 3.0 different brand this time off eBay and a boost gauge .
    Still need to get a AFR gauge and wideband sensor.
