Fun concept but falls into the same "reality" show pitfalls: Overly dramatic, unnecessary shouting, the one guy who's always dressed like he's crying for attention. It's fun to watch just because you get to see some solid off-road rigs. But it pains me to see these guys thrash their rigs so carelessly to win a measly 10k. Probly barely enough to cover the repairs.

The one episode I stumbled upon both finalist shredded a tire on the smashed cars. I think the owners drive their vehicles too slow over all the obstacles.

    Pin it to Win it!!!:mudding:

Glenn Plake is one of the original "extreme Skiers" and I have been a huge fan of him since I was a little kid. I had no idea he had anything to do with motorsports, and was shocked to see him on the show. Just wait till he styles up his mohawk!

I enjoy watching the show, but dont see it as having a long run.

Huh, never heard of him, but it's not a sport I follow. Good to know the look is a part of him and not just him trying to live up to the "reality" show. This world could use more mohawks. The real ones, like in the pic.

Binge watched all of the episodes. Most of the negatives mentioned I can agree with: manufactured suspense, way too much jawing from the 4 guys as they race and compete, and toilet launching.

But, its solid wheeling and I'd rather watch it that some of the crap on tv... or is this the crap?

Itis not a act for the show at all. He was that person in 1986 when he made his skiing movie debut in Maltese Flamingo.

The Pistol Pete guy on the show has a cool Baja truck company where you can rent his race trucks to enter offroad races.

Ive never heard of the other 2 guys personally.

Unfortunately mute is the best way to listen to a lot of shows.

I caught one episode. I thought the pushing of the trailer off the cliff was odd. The damn things just fell apart, what exactly does that test? Dude had a v8 swapped Toyota pickup that was pretty cool, but lost to an old school Chevy due to size alone basically. Neat idea, execution is awkward and too staged

Agreed. If they watched up similar engine size and trucks it would be better

Stumbled upon tonights episode and there is a 1991 Tacoma with some Fox's on it. Let's see it beat up on some Jeeps.

Exactly. I've seen it twice, and it was essentially the same show. The comments from the "experts" after the opening scene of who they're picking to get behind is essentially the same verbiage and outside of watching to see how the Tacos do, I'm mostly waiting to see somebody get stuck or more importantly, watch something break.

That 4 cylinder was hauling ass. Don't think those dudes will dog Tacoma's anymore.
Best part he has Fox's that we all can buy from @HeadStrong Off-Road. :burnrubber:
