Urd y pipe vs power extractor pipe. if only one was to be purchased, what option do you think would be better? I assume if I put them both on that my truck would be obnoxiously loud correct? I currently have the TRD cat back exhaust. And no emission concerns here in small town Illinois.
    Thanks

IIRC we can't even use the power extractor cuz it'll make the engine go haywire and not even drivable. People were trying to find a work around but seems like no one has done so.

Lots of people have the URD Ypipe, including myself with the TRD exhaust. No complaint there.

That’s a bummer. Well then how Does your setup sound vs just the trd exhaust? You think the y pipe is doable in the driveway or do I need to find a lift

Yes, both would be overkill imo.

Huh? You'll get downstream o2 sensor codes. Engine doesn't care what exhaust it has. The emissions system does.

I've run catless with no mufflers before. It's extremely loud. Probably bearable with mufflers.

Because you get downstream o2 sensor codes and nobody wants to spend the money to tune them out.

I've run catless before, like I just said.

Anyways... If you really want to get catless down pipes... I would recommend you keep the TRD exhaust and add a resonator to the system before the muffler as well. No cats are extremely raspy. The level of noise increases dramatically. I personally wouldnt do it again.

Mods: Is this still a Tacoma?
Sounds super charged rather than abnoxious! Does the tone get beefier when youre actually pulling traction from a dead stop, meaning when you give it gas to get the truck moving? Not to degrade any brands including our own, but is there a way to get that American growl with an Atkinson V6?

Something close to a muffler delete but being able to still pass emissions (I know each state varies but california is one of the 2 strictest states here on smog.
