I want to lift my truck just slightly in the front, but it also has the 1/2" 'Tacoma lean' on the drivers side. What are you thoughts on a 1/2" spacer on the drivers side, and a 1/4" spacer on the passenger side to level it out? I'm replacing my front shocks and coil mounts in the next couple weeks, so I figure while I'm in there and have everything apart, this would be the best time to install the spacers and longer studs.
What's every bodies thoughts on this? The truck is completely stock with 4600's. (TRD package) with 100,000 miles on it. (Not interested in upgrading the coils or shocks at this point to something else)

Bilstein 5100's on all four corners. Front set @ 0 with OME 883x coils. Alcon leaf springs. Viper Alarm. Wet Okole seat covers. WeatherTech Floor liners front and back. Oem Toyota chrome exhaust tip. ARE Shell. America Outlaw Wheels.
I was thinking of doing the same thing only difference is , I already did the 5100s with 883 OME front coils. What I didn't do at time of install was the 1/4 in taco lean spacer . The lift gave me 1 1/2 on driver side and 1 3/4 on passenger. What I want to do is go with 1/2 in spacer on driver and 1/4 on passenger. That should give me an even 2in. of lift. What do you guys think Am I on the right track? Don't mean to jack your thread OP Just thought it was on the same track

Edit : OK so I found a thread with the info I was looking for. It appears that the 1/4 in. Spacer provides 1/2in of lift and the 1/2in spacer provides 3/4in. Of lift. Hope this helps anyone else looking for this info.

That's what I've read too. I contacted Wheeler's Offroad and they confirmed the same lift amounts. Don't forget you'll need longer studs as well.

I've been running half on driver, 3/8 on passenger since '12. Works great!!

At 100k you might as well just replace the shocks now. I know you said you arent interested but its time.

I have a clunk in the front end and I know the shocks are definitely worn out. I have already ordered new 4600's, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings and new coil mounts from Rock Auto. Start with the cheap, easy to replace components and hopefully that fixes the problem. I just wasn't interested in upgrading to 5100's or changing the coils.

Wheelers Off-Road is having issues with their supplier for the spacers. So I am patiently waiting for them to come in. I will take some before and after pictures when it's done. Not that it will lift the front very much, but I just want to level it out a bit.

I finally got around to installing the spacers and replacing the front shocks. I would say that the difference between the passenger side and drivers side is about 1/4" of an inch now, so I am happy with that. I didn't need the longer studs because the studs on the new top plates I ordered were just long enough.
Overall it lifted the front about 1/2" on the passenger side, and about 3/4" on the drivers side. Not very much, but just enough to make it appear a bit more leveled out.

Mine is a 4x4 TRD. The difference before from left to right was about 7/8", now its less than 1/8". It's close enough to call it level, so I'm happy.
