Dash rattle

    2017 blue tacoma limited
    I have a 2017 Tacoma limited and have a dash rattle when it is cold outside.

    I have all kind of rattles. Its normal. Best bet is to try and get your dealer to foam it or fix it or pull things apart and DIY.

    Easy fix. It is the speaker grille rubbing on the A pillar trim.

    Use a trim removal tool to pop out the two covers on the right handle or SRS cover on the left side. Is it just a cover, so no worries. Use a 10mm socket to back out the bolts. From there, you just pop out the pillar trim. You'll most likely see a couple spots where the speaker grille is rubbing. Carefully pop out the speaker grille and stick on a couple small strips of loop velcro. Reassemble and enjoy.
