Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

Ok after driving 1.04 now between commutes I can say I definitely miss the tip in just a bit...like half of what it was in 1.03
However, I do have some weight.

When you get on it, 1.04 is peppy and smooth in the 91 oct tune.

Going to flash to 87 next week and try that.
So far I averaged 19.1 mpg on my commute his morning with the 91 tune

I thought you had the AT? How would you be running 1.03C? That's a MT map

1.04 is by far the smoothest version I’ve ran.

 

Ide like 1.03 but with the 1.04smoothness

Very smooth. Idle sits at 550rpms and almost makes me want to get rid of my flowmaster. It’s kinda peaceful...lol

 

WHERE OR HOW SHOULD I DOWNLOAD THE 1.04 FILES TO MY COMPUTER?

The tune works great with 4.88's. I am still running 1.03 87 will be going to 1.04 91 soon! Gears and tune make for a great driving truck! Cant wait for the bit of extra power from the 91 tune.

so the only new updated file is the ECM 1.04. so I only have have to flash the ecm 1.04? and use the same tcu for the gear box?

 

That's what has been reported by various AT owners and I believe Mat too, yes.

Yes. I recommend disconnecting then Reconnecting your black (negative) battery cable before the flash. Deleting the short term memory is never a bad thing between flashes

It does that when you flash. Resets DTCs.
