I do have one DCSB skid in stock right now. More will be available soon as I have a new batch of hardware on the way. I'm not planning any group buys at the moment.

My man, does the UHMV ship separately from the straps and bolts?
I recieved the skid but no mounting hardware. I'm assuming I need to wait another day or 2

Yup, there are two packages. The second package is a padded flat rate envelope. It'll probably show up tomorrow.

Anyone happen to know the little stock flange bolt size/ thread? Mine had to be removed with an angle grinder when I replaced my gas tank strap about a month ago.

Yeah, you might need those for the FJ skid install. The slot in the skid is 5/16", so a 1/4" bolt will do the trick.

7B4F7C99-791B-4993-9DD9-0E3C67539D47.jpg Got mine installed today. I have the OR pkg so my gas tank straps have the bolts sticking dow. I didn’t want to cut them off so I drilled holes in the skid and used them to mount the skid.
Is there any reason I can’t just leave the straps off? I know redundancy of using the straps would be added insurance, but it’s pretty solid on there now.

What do you think Nathan, or anybody else?

You need to protect those bolts somehow or they will get ripped off the first time you put that skid to use. You need something like this https://www.rockhard4x4.com/product_p/rh-6000-sw-496.htm

What I did was sell my full setup to someone with an SR5 and used their straps.

I have the OR package, you just have to unbolt the mounts, take it apart, and reinstall with the straps, no cutting needed. It's a little bit confusing and takes about an hour. But peace of mind, only Jane to do it once

I like that bolt head protector idea, but looks like it only comes in one size with a 1/2” hole. I guess I can use a washer, but then the bolts length will be too short to get the nut started. I could do like WhiteNemesis said and take the strap apart, then replace the bolt with a longer bolt or maybe even go with a bigger bolt.
    Decisions decisions.....

You don't need to replace any hardware, it all fits factory bolts.

Other companies sell different sizes, just search bolt protector and you will find the appropriate size.
If you don't have an Off-Road, but with a stock skid you need to deal with the studs on the straps. I couldn't fully understand what you typed about taking it apart but the better solution is switching straps. I easily found someone who was happy to throw me a couple dollars to trade straps.
