So guys check this out. I know ill prolly get some haters but I like the way it came out. I was originally going for a level set truck but I kinda wanted to try the front a little higher than the back. I can always add a 1" spacer to the rear now to level it back out.

I am posting because I couldn't find any good examples when I was selecting my parts.

I have a 2009 Tacoma Prerunner, Ext Cab (access I think its called), 6ft bed, 4cyl, 5 speed manual, 2wd.

I bought an Ebay 2.5" spacer lift on Ebay. It didn't fit very well. Basically I dropped the coilover out of the housing and installed the spacer. Upon reinstall the spacer was interfering where the coilover sits. I had to use the floor jack to lift the coilover and press fit it into place. So it will be very difficult to remove....with Ebay I guess you get what you pay for, but they were very cheap...

Then I bought a used set of 2017 tacoma wheels. I needed new tires, and instead of buying a new set, I snagged this used set of tires and wheels for $600. The tires have 9,000 miles on them and look much better than my dry-cracked set. (I don't drive very often as I commute to work on my motorcycle)

    My stock wheels were: 16 X 7; 5 SPOKES; 6 LUG; 5.5 INCH Bolt Pattern (+30)
    tires: 245/75R16

    The 2017 wheels are: 16 X 7; 5 SPOKES; 6 LUG; 5.5 INCH Bolt Pattern (+25)
    tires: 265/70R16

Check out the pics and hope that it was helpful!!

Just need an alignment and she's done!

    Little update.

Got my tpms switch into my rims today, cost me $80 ($20) a wheel. The rims I bought didn't end up having them inside...whatever
Gonna get it aligned next weekend. Found a guy near me that will do just the front end(cuz it doesn't have adjustment on the straight, rear axle) for about 50-60 bucks. Others including Toyota wanted like 90-130 for the alignment just because its "lifted"....sigh

But I also found my favorite tire wheel set calculator and wanted to share it. I use it for any job like this. Main thing I look at is whether the wheels go in or out with different offsets and how much they go in can really affect hitting suspension and stuff esp with turning the wheels. After that the old vs new tire diameter is the one that affects your speedo, so I also look at that.
