    I saw a Subaru at the bridge crossing the Horsepasture River on my second trip out to Chestnut Mountain. I was pretty impressed that it got that far, but I am highly doubtful they could have made it across the rocks to get to the other side.

    You could get to the bridge crossing the Thompson River at Musterground, but I don't know if I would recommend trying to get over it, and its a pretty good ride after that to get to the camp sites, although...

    I have read about there being some campsites if you follow the Thompson River on the South Carolina side down a bit, and I have seen people park their vehicles on the side of the road where it's wide enough. I'll see if I can find where I was reading about it and post a link.

    Last shout out to anyone wanting to hit Bad Creek, mustergrounds rd tomorrow. Going to explore more camp sites and hit a few spurts off of the camp 6 area.

    Would recommend having atleast a locked prerunner or 4x4.
