That advertisement is just filled with all kinds of crap that I will never use. It all began about 3 months ago, and I don't like it. Is its placement the fault of TacomaWorld? How can I get rid of it?

Those are ads placed there based on products that have been mentioned in the thread, probably from Google ad services.

It's not like the administrators if this website manage this website out of the goodness of their hearts or out of sheer boredom. Those ads and the revenue they get from it is what keeps the website alive. If you don't like seeing adds on this free website, stop using it.

LOLOLOLOL. Have you been on any other forums with ads inserted between every other post, and everywhere else? It doesn't get any better than this, and many members find them very helpful for finding parts they need, etc.

Here's one you might be interested in.

Would you rather pay a monthly fee to access this site?

For some things, like facebook etc... I wouldn't mind paying a monthly or annual fee to remove ads, but the ads on this site are barely noticeable. Hell, they're even relevant to the thread you're currently reading instead of facebook ads for products I've already purchased.

Even when the "products discussed in this thread" ads are as hilarious as the ones you now see below, they're really not intrusive at all.

It's a potluck, and you're the maid of honor.

Maybe make a donation to tcBob so they don't have to run ads to generate revenue that helps pay for this free-to-use site? :notsure:

A potluck at a wedding just seems like a bad idea.
