Just the one as far as I know, not a whole lot to the system, pressure switch is the failsafe for both high pressure while running and low pressure if it has leaked. Gotta have X amt of pressure before she'll turn on. There is some computer intervention in the later years like yours but I doubt any of that would go bad. You can jump start your clutch to check it, just unplug the only plug on it and run a clip to +12V, it'll either kick on or if it doesn't the electromagnet is kaput. If it kicks on that only leaves a faulty pressure switch (not super likely) or low pressure (have you seen your condenser haha). If it is low pressure I'd do a temporary fill with UV reactive refrigerant and look for leaks with a UV light, I say this because a condenser, evaporator, and expansion valve are all about as likely as one another to go out and it saves money if you just replace the one that is actually broken

Heater has a 30A cause the fan motor draws a lot. AC is just an electromagnetic clutch so not much draw.

I have replaced the AC componenets before, it is absolutely something you can do in the garage. It's a pain though, but all simple stuff and all bolt together.

I'd just have a local shop take the freon out if you don't want to be a bad person and vent it (although R-134 isn't harmful to the environment it isn't good for lungs). At the end you have to vacuum the system down to 30 inHg and see if it can hold that for an hour without the pump on, then you refill with new PAG oil charge and freon charge to the correct pressures and oil amounts. Now that I explain it this may be something to have a shop do if you aren't familiar with how A/C functions and using a manifold gauge set.

You can at least change the parts yourself and have a shop do the AC charge

Hey Zane, am I imagining this, or are you running the FROR t-case crossmember?

Just in the stock position, right? No dual cases?

How are the vibes? Did you eliminate the bottom mount altogether?

    Thanks!

ETA: I’m hoping to install my crawl box sometime this year, and it seems like a really good way to get a new mount in and support both cases. The other option is a new crossmember and bottom mount for the crawl box and let the j-shift hang out cantilevered like it does in stock form.

Yeah I'm running with one case and I eliminated the stock crossmember. But I wouldn't say stock position, I pushed the case up until it was 3/8" from touching the body. That's kind of the cool part of the design is you can move the mount how you see fit. It comes with two stiff but not unyielding poly bushings that hold the weights of the case, trans, and engine well. But I would recommend that you have poly engine mounts as well so it only has to hold the weight vertically and not the torsion from acceleration and deceleration. I have some minor vibes from the mounts being more firm but idle is smoother than ever and cruising under 3500 is plenty smooth too. Above 3500 it is small vibes not driveline just engine.

Of course! I’ll take whatever pics you have.

How tough was it getting everything installed?

Sorry it is so dirty, the mount is pretty easy to line up, you just jack it up and weld in the mounts where you like it. It is self centering. The engine mounts were much harder to install.

You know I had it in my head that the anniversary was over that weekend, but I should've stayed indoors or something haha. I ended up breaking the land cruiser haha (pleasehelpmywallet)

To answer the how'd the suspension do, about a month ago I took her to pismo and the set up killed it. Even with the additional weight of the swingout. Front could use a bit more compression and the bump stops could use a little extension. On full bump the wheels up front stuffed like crazy so after the first day I went in with a mallet and just went ham on any metal edge. After that it was great. Oddly enough the truck feels smoother landing from all four tires off than going over speed bumps.
