My buddy just bought a 3rd Gen and the day after he took it off the lot, he got rear ended. They didn't total it. Now in for 60+ days for a frame swap. Toyota tough?

    A few minor things...
So you're blaming Toyota "not being tough" on someone rear ending him?

    Dude...

Or maybe the truck is so tough that even though the fucking frame got bent like a paperclip, they're gonna fix it and keep on rolling.

You would think it would be worse, seeing how much the frame bent.

Any idea how fast he was going? That damage definitely looks less than what I expected to see.

Hard to see what happened under the hood though. For all we know it sheared the intake off the engine and broke all the mounts. Dis-similar height impacts can look odd. Obviously a very hard hit if it tweaked the frame on the Taco that bad.

I'm not blaming anybody Francis. Dont get your Toyota panties in a wad. lol I'm a tacoma owner myself.

I mainly posted this because I wouldn't think a truck frame would be bent after seeing the damage from the other vehicle. He will need a full frame replacement. I've had trucks all my life. Been rear ended on some and none had frame damage afterwards.

Yeah, exactly my thoughts and reason for posting. I would have expected some bumper and maybe tailgate damage but an entire bent frame?? Yet again, I am not an engineer or anything like that. I just shoot things for a living lol
