They've been around for a while, but I was just as amazed when I got it, put the key in, and it worked. Blew me away

@Pelfreybilt i was wondering what kind of rubber trim you give with the bumpers. I wanted to buy some more. Figure I could find it at some hardware store but knowing the size or specs of it might help.

There are two different sizes; the wider trim goes on the flares, the narrower fits on the sheet metal of the fender.

Here are the part #'s form McMaster:
    8507K14 - 1/32" Wide x 1/4" High
    8507K65 - 1/8" Wide x 1/4" High Inside

I bought the Bolt lock but with it on, I'm still able to manually lift the swingout and clear the handle through the latch mechanism. So, I must have drilled the hole in the wrong spot by a few millimeters. But instead of the big lock sticking out back there I've decided to go a different route. Here's what I purchased:

This coupler lock should clear the space in between the gate and the latch. Now I just need to drill and ream a 1/4" hole, as close to the latch as possible, and I should be good to go.

Scrolled through the 33 pages of this thread but didn't see any postings of the double jerry can mount and if it sticks out PAST the tire mount on the back of a HC swing out bumper, anyone got a pic of that from the side?

Also, how does the stock rearview camera work with the spare tire, blue/red lines on the screen matching the bumper/farthest point sticking out, etc?

EDIT: Just kidding. I looked on the Pelfreybilt website and saw they have a picture on there :anonymous:

Does anyone happen to know the Toyota part number for the bolts that hold the bumper onto the frame?

Has anyone built a reverse/dust light off the swingout? Thinking of the location below in red:

That iis typically the most common area for a permanent mount. Other than the back of the rack of course.

Are you looking to mount in front or behind? You could do one of our bed light or antenna brackets and self tap it on the tubing for a semi permanent mount.

I wouldn't mind dual function; but mostly for the tailgating SUV/lifted truck f*ckers :D

I was thinking on top of the rail on the swingout.

Well if you mounted one of our tabs to the swing out top rail you could have the opening for the light to go through facing forward or backward, self tap on and call it a day!
