Currently filing my taxes... Im looking to get a mortgage in 1 year.

Last year My hobby became quite profitable and this year I have created a business.

I am filing my taxes for 2017 as a hobby income at a net of $38,355

Next year my income will technically be the same employment but as a self employment (schedule C) income.

Will this create problems for the showing of income for two years?

Looks like you were left hanging...

I’m not an expert as requested but wouldn’t think your scenario would be a major concern if all your financials in order and done correctly.

Seeing this is close to two years later, how’d you make out?

Good luck in any case, I hope it went according to your plans

Yep it did work with just how I had planned it out the lender just needed to see proof of income and it all went well. Thanks!
