Hello everyone, I have what may be an odd question. More likely it will be a simple one for you lot.

I have a 2010 SR5 V6 4x4 Tacoma (DCLB). I was going to install fogs, since it did not come with any, and wanted to check on whether it was prewired for them as I see is often the case.

I have the wires to the switch pre-wired from the factory and they were easily found behind the blank in the dash. BUT! I can't for the life of me find the wiring harness in the engine bay. I've looked up between the grill and the engine, under the fender wells, everywhere I can think within easy reach and it's nowhere to be found.

    What am I missing?

Look under the front bumper. Should be tucked away, wrapped in black tape above the crashbar.

Did you end up finding the wiring harness in the engine bay behind the bumper?

I just encountered the same issue with my 2010 SR5 V6, switch in dash was prewired but I have not found any wires taped away behind the bumper...I have a full OEM kit ready to install.

Check @ the fuse box under the hood. It probably doesn't have wires coming out of it for the fog lights. If it does, just trace them.

I did not ever find any. I had to wire in my own set, but it was easy enough with YouTube.
