Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know I'll be joining the family. My Inferno DCSB TRD Sport comes next Wednesday! I'm beyond excited! It will be quite a change from my 2016 WRX STi!

Factory lift kit. Lomax tri fold Tonneau.
The cover has a bunch of insulation glued on it underneath, not sure why, maybe either to deaden noise or protect paint on hood from heat? ???

Did you pull the dash tweeters out of the WRX???
Those are part of the sound system mod for these trucks.
Exact swap and a 200% increase in sound quality.

Oh and welcome to TW and the BEST color choice for the Tacomas - but honestly, all the colors look good.

VERY nice!!!! I've been wanting to see these on the Inferno in this color and they definitely look amazing as I thought they would!!

It'll be a challenge to color match the Inferno, but I say do it if you can! Paint matching isn't as critical when you're painting small sections (like interior trim or grill pieces), but with such large sections as that, you'll want to make sure you find someone good. Maybe ask around to see who the camper shell companies get to paint their stuff?

I love to see the difference in the paint as the sun comes and goes...

Just a cheesy 3” leveling lift for now. It was cheap and easy to do. Planning on full on long travel in a couple of years after the warranty is up. It’s really tough to not go crazy with this thing suspension wise for me, but it’s only got less than 2k miles on it. I’m sure I won’t be able to hold out too long. I went from a full prerunnered Frontier to this. Lol

I'll probably do an exhaust mod. I'm used to my loud exhaust on my STi. I definitely would prefer something more subtle this time around, especially for highway driving.

I did not... I wonder if they would notice when I finally trade in the Subaru.... I doubt they checked that when they looked at it originally and they bought it "as is"

I doubt they will even turn on the stereo. Most car dealerships/mechanics turn it off so they can listen for any mecanical noises that aren't normal.

Yeah honestly I would hate for the next owner of the car to buy it and discover that issue. I want the next person that owns it to love it as much as I did!
