    I looked up my torque specs againa and found out I overtorqued my rear shock at the lower mount. Will fix this today, hopefully I didnt do any damage to the shock or bushing. :notsure:

    Front Upper shock mounts - 24 ft/lbs
    Front lower shock mount - 61 ft/lbs
    UCA Ball joint - 45 ft/lbs
    UCA Bolt - 85 ft/lbs
    Sway Bracket - 37 ft/lbs
    Sway Link - 70 ft/lbs
    Rear Upper shock mount - couldn’t fit torque wrench, hand tightened
    Rear lower shock mount - 74 ft/lbs
    U-Bolts 75 ft/lbs

    Someone please chime in if any of these are incorrect. For those reading, I want to note that this is with light racing UCA, and HS 3-AAL. I’m unsure if all the aftermarket parts match OEM torque specs. Also took off my swaybar while I re-torqued everything. I’ll do a test drive in the morning to see how it rides and give an update.
    GUDENTITE used to be my standard for tightening bolts, until I ended warping one of the rotors on my Pontiac a few years back from over-tightening. Torque specs exist for a reason. Please don’t abuse your beautiful Tacoma!

    The torque for the SPC LR UCA ball joint is 150lbs. It's only set at 45lbs until the alignment is completed then final torque on it is 150 ft/lbs.

    Do not Torque Rear upper and lower shocks... upper just make sure there is around 1/8" thread showing... lower just hand tighten. You will destroy rubber bushing on the lower shock mount if you torque that high..

    I tried to torque mine at 43 ft.lbs following the oem factory shocks... It didn't even click until I warped rubber bushing... Just called fox and they told me not to torque it.. they sent me new rubber bushings.

    Do you have pictures of your rear shocks? Mine are hand tight but have well over 1/8” of thread showing.

    Instructions say to torque adjuster nut to 120 ft/lbs after alignment.

    It may be an out of date install instruction. I threw out the ones that came with mine.....Will look into this later.

    @RangerComa
    Drove around without my swaybar this morning and noticed very little change in body roll going around turns. Do it!

    The 150lb is what mine that were made in Dec. '17 said. I have the latest version. I should've mentioned that!

    I also figured out the squeaking / creaking sound I was experiencing, it was not the sway bar or the skid plate.. It was the coils on the passenger side, It kinda got misaligned and was scraping the shock body... not sure how it happened.. but not much damaged done.

    Well, I fuckin tightened the shit out of everything. Especially after I hit a decent bump and my right UCA dropped out of place on that top bolt. I guess I'll have to call fox at some point to replace my bushings on the rear shocks.

    The top nut on the shock should be tightened until the rubber bushing 'swells' 1/8". The bottom should be done around 45lbs/tq. Neither are really specific.

    I tried to tighten the bottom rear shocks at 45ft.lbs, never heard my torque wrench click... next thing i know the bushing is messed up..

    Waiting for replacement bushing from fox.
