This is why when I initially went to the dealer after buying the Taco and complained about a squeaky seat bolster I just said F it. They started talking about bringing a rep out to investigate bla bla bla f'n bla! I was talking to the service manager at the time and he even agree'd it was squeaking. I was like why does someone else need to hear it, don't they trust you!? I walked away.

I was so mad I thought, I will go to another dealer, and do a test drive, to right around the corner and swap my seat out LOL, but then there is Karma and that is Mo Fo.

 

A co-worker of mine is looking into hitch mounted spare wheel carrier. I know this topic was looked into a couple of weeks ago... he's looking into the swing out, but I've seen the one that's pivoting down (to the side) , I just can't find it. Whoever posted that one, could you please post photo and info about it again. Thanks

 

Hitch gate possiby? I forget the name but think that may be it. Made by Wilco. Maybe tire gate? Idk I'm sure if you search those terms you'll find it.

 

He's looking into that $1200 ish swing out... Figured I'd show him options, lol

I'll show him this as well. No, gate wasn't it... I can't remember who posted that but I think it was before @RobP62 posted his set up (that didn't quite fit in his receiver , and was hitting under mounted spare) ...

 

Who the F@CK is this other RobP62 with the bad hitch mount?! This is the second time this has come up! Am I freaking posting up shit with a second personality and don't know it?

Sad part is, with my luck my alter personality is much thinner, has more hair, more endowed and has a better job!

 

So I searched like a madman (in heavy traffic) and came across those two posts. I must have either seen a photo somewhere else, or I was just mistaken about what I thought I saw...

Ok I'll own up to that one! LOL my post was more an offer for someone to try that flip up receiver adapter before buying one. But hell with all we do participation wise on this forum it's sooooo easy to get confused.
