Yeah if I was looking (which I'm not :anonymous: ) it'd be the 7mgTe or a 1JZ swap.

But then again I'm not looking :spy:

1Js weren't very common in the states be unique but smaller than either of the stock engines offered in the Taco haha. I don't like the idea of going full drivetrain swap on my wheeling rig, too much that can go south and then you run into the problem of not being able to share knowledge and parts with your wheeling group as easily. One swap I would love to do and would happily defile my pristine cruiser for would be a Tundra 5.7 swap. That would be amazing in that thing haha

eh. if it was a factory 1jz MKIII..sure. But id rather have a 2jz swap one which you can get a nice one for 10-14k.

we are talking about supras not motor swaps hahaha

but yeah, the 5.7 tundra would be bitchen. There is a single cab short bed in columbus i see all the time with it. That would be the ideal truck to LT with all the cool tundra kits out and link the rear. Add a super charger. Race truck.

The first car I ever owned was a 1986 Toyota MR2. I almost killed myself in it on multiple occasions. That car was so much fun. I've already put my wife on notice that when I retire I'm going to salvage one from a junkyard and restore it.

You know you can take those second-generation MR2s and squeeze a supercharged 1MZFE V6 in them, right? 240 HP. Then they are serious suicidal death machines. :burnrubber:

That would be awesome, but I don't think it would fit. That poor little mid-engine would pop like a zit.

In my attempt to make sure I have the bypass on the SC set properly. I think I'm going to shove a borescope in it so I can see the butterfly

yeah really these days turboing out trucks is pretty damn easy. Cost can be less than a new supercharger setup easily too. Just takes a lot more work and time to tune it yourself.

@eon_blue just checked my bypass valve and its tube. Nothing. It was a new one from magnuson and new tubing as well.

This. Use all that free time to get out an explore dude. I wish I had the time I had when I was younger (and I wish I learned I enjoyed all this stuff back then too). Go camping and enjoy that 4wd.

Went up to Moonshine Arch to see how much my little lift has settled, which is quite a bit, got some new rubs during flexy time.
