Kids born in the year 2000 are getting ready to go to college now.

 

Yup...my niece is headed there this fall. And I'd say the kid is also...except he doesn't know what he wants to do!

I told him to pick up a trade....well paying, secure jobs there. Plus, no $$$$ in debt before he makes a damn dime!

 

Tell him to look into corrosion engineering technology at Kilgore college in Longview Texas. Three of my brothers have gone through this program. All of them love what they’re doing and are doing very well for themselves. It is a two year associates degree and after they get their certifications they make more money than most with a bachelors degrees. All of them paid off there very low student loans very quickly.
