IN a spray bottle mix 50-50 white vinegar and water with ONLY 2 drops of Dawn Original dish soap. Clean with this then do it again using a Magic Eraser. Wipe with a microfiber. This works on the inside of windows. For the w/s outside first use a dry 0000 steel wool. Then clean with white vinegar/water spray as above.

My tint person said to only use Sprayaway on my tinted windows (since it's ammonia free), and they've been in business for 30+ years.

Ya know, we had our windshield in our '04 Camry replace several years ago by Safelite Auto and they have their own branded glass cleaner. That stuff is the best glass cleaner I have EVER used. Absolutely amazing...

    I use Invisible Glass.

The mistake most people make with windows is
#1 not drying well so you get mineral spots and
    #2 using too much product

All you need is a very light amount applied directly on your microfiber towel and wipe the window down.
You do not need to spray the window 4 times, you’ll get residue.

I like to use Turtle Wax Dash and Glass. Works for me.

^^^^^ This 100% - and another vote for Invisible Glass. Works awesome when used sparingly.

I just use an ammonia free cleaner and newspaper. As far as I'm concerned, there's no better way of cleaning windows.

I use Invisible Glass and newspaper. Still get streaks. Maybe I use too much. I'll cut back and see if I get better results. Also just got a dedicated glass microfiber from Auto Geek. When my Invisible Glass is done I'll give Sprayway a try. Been hearing about it for years.

Might be using too much, just follow up the newpaper with a dry microfiber, should help with the streaks.

Alternate 5) apply Aquapel! Your exact routine 1 through 4 followed by Aquapel produces great results. It's awesome stuff and bugs will come off effortlessly. Even after baking in the sun. And great water behavior.

If you need to clean road film off the outside of the windshield, Bar Keeper's Friend is a great way to get it done.

Once 'decontaminated' you can polish it up with your fav glass cleaner, like Stoners.

Big fan of Meguiar's product. A secret though is to use a good microfiber cloth and wipe in one direction. This way you're not unloading the particles back onto the glass.
