Yes sir. Lower is fun, couple of options. Upper is tight and annoying with only one main obstacle (gatekeeper)

Cool, were going to be in Sedona in a few weeks and was looking for some more challenging stuff than I could find around there and that looks pretty close. Can you camp on Lake Pleasant?

Thanks! If you guys are interested and want to join, I think we will be down there 5/11-12, tentative plan of doing Sedona/Jerome stuff Thursday 5/10, maybe Smiley Rock 5/11 and camp at the lake on 5/11, then Terminator 5/12 before beginning the drive back to CO that afternoon.

Open to any other suggestions of trails/camp spots/shit to do in the area as well, would like to make it further south, but that makes the drive back that much further.

I'm personally not a Sedona fan, so I'll move along.

It's a fairly long transfer from Smiley Rock to Lake Pleasant. The end of Smiley Rock is on Mingus Mtn which has some good camping also.

I might be up for grabbing a seat/spotting on the Terminators.

Ya that tensioner bolt was supposed to be straight. Amazing what a little bushing does oops. The bracket is now light weight and my ac will blow harder right.

Depending on temperature you may not want to camp at pleasant either, I would camp somewhere by Prescott. It shouldn't be too bad but then again our weather swings this year have been crazy. Also don't forget to get an AZ state trust land permit as I think the entrance to terminator is on state trust land.

Too touristy? Never been there so I figured might as well check it off the list.

    :transformer: :smokertransformer:

Good point, didn't really think about the temps, I do not enjoy sleeping in the heat. I did see the permit system, thanks

I'll post up once we are down there and see if anyone is interested in meeting up.

What he said. I won't say don't go once and run Broken Arrow. But don't expect much. Such a small valley of red rock compared to Moab.

Watch the temps and play it by ear. It's getting hot and dry quick down here. But at least both will cool off quicker than PHX after the sun goes down.

Looks like I'll be doing the big 3 upgrade on my truck. Wouldn't start again so we did Connor's suggestion and jumped the starter with jumper cables. Started right up. So everything's being replaced with 1/0 gauge :D
