Nah, after having the STi in black, I could never do a black car again, despite how good it looked. My 2013 was MGM which I loved, but I couldn't get it in a 3G color since it was too similar a truck. Silver was my best option at the time.

It takes me 6 hours to get up there either way, 91 or 90 to 95, so I just take 91

And for me it's right around 90 miles either way, but if I go up 27 it takes me maybe 1&3/4 hrs, but if I take 16 it's usually 2-2&1/4 easy.

Yea 16 definitely has some rough spots especially between Rangeley and Stratton. Moose territory right there

I find that I always get stuck behind some dink who wants to go 5-10 under the limit, too. On 27 there's tons of spots where you can pass, but on 16 it's harder to get around them.

Annoyingly, I drove through a rain squall on my way home that
    A) reminded me of how much I love rain-x, and how I should apply some tomorrow
    B) coated the whole damn freshly detailed truck in road grime :frusty:

So I put the Pro Comp Steel Wheels Series 51 Wheels on and needed to keep the 1.25" of spacer to fit them over the caliper... Way too much poke so I'm going to have to take them off and switch to different rims. Which sucks because I already mounted and balanced these.

The tires are 285/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx so those will go on the SCS F5's I bought from that dude in VT. These rims will have to go on CL since I just can't run them with the tire size I want to stick with.

Also going to need a new passengerside axle since my boot is torn and it's about time to order spare axles...

I'm super curious on real world mpgs on these. That's one thing that irritates the shit out of me, why can't we get better mpgs out of these tacos, when these big v8s are getting better.

I’ll get some tomorrow. It’s getting dark here and I ended up driving to my parents’ house in NY rather than go home. I’ll get a couple good shots tomorrow.

In the AM. I got home, snapped a pic, and started cooking supper. Dark now, but I could get you a shot of the cab lights, lol.

Got 14.4 on the trip home, according to the vehicle info center (which I've read tends toward optimism) at a steady 75mph, with the cruise control engaged. Honestly, I've sort of 'budgeted' an average of 12mpg with this rig, so anything better makes me happy. We'll see what it hand calculates to when I've run a tank or two through it. I figure if the computer is at least close, 14 at highway speed isn't too bad, especially with an aggressive set of all terrains like BFG's. Interestingly, on the flats the instant readout said I was getting 16-17, but heading North between Westbrook and Sabattus has a lot more uphill stretches than downhill ones, which hurt the average.

I get my best mileage off the highway, cruising back roads.

Same here, with the Tacoma and the F150. I'm interested to see if this truck is the same. The F150 had a sweet spot around 55-65, and I suspect that this truck will behave similarly.

Edit- But, it certainly is depressing to glance down and see '3mpg' on the instant readout while you're charging up an on ramp.
Sounds good, though. One thing you can always count on is that a Hemi is good for turning gasoline into noise

my highway mpg sucks, its probably because I'm usually traveling at 75/80. 55-65 seems to be the sweetspot, but I would like to get to where I'm going!
