    Okay,

I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD off road - double cab - Long bed in quicksand.
I am looking to purchase a hard folding tonneau cover. I have been trying to do some research, but dont have as much time as I would like to spend.

So, I think I have it down to these three different ones.

    - Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite
    - Bakflip M4x
    - Rugged Premium Hard Folding

Unless someone else has a suggestion. I would like to stay under $900.

    Thanks for any advice.

Well, I read as many reviews as I could and decided on the Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite!
    Its on order!

Good choice, and you Can't go wrong with the G4 Elite. Thats what I am currently running with on mine. Does a great job with keeping the water out.

I might end up selling mine down the road for something compatible with a bedrack where I can still open my tonneau.

Thank you. I am very pleased with it so far. It was not difficult to install, just took some patience and time to adjust.

Yes patience was key. And their customer service is great, I had an issue with right rail seal, and they sent a replacement right away. What did you do to seal the front bed rail gap? I stuffed some tailgate weather stripping in that gap, but going to take that out and redo or put some sort of sealant. Its on the to-do list.

nothing yet, I am just going to let it settle a bit and then check everything over. The center fold of mine is not sitting completely flat yet, but like I said.......waiting to see if things settle down a bit.

Old picture, but this was my cover the day after i installed it. The biggest adjustments I had to do were on the back (back of the bed) lock points. After some trial and error, it now works like without any issues when closing and locking on both sides.

looks perfect! Yea, that was the hardest area to adjust for me too. The passenger side back (against cab) seems a bit tite and the cover is cramped a bit, but I think this will work out as it settles.
