I do understand but if you knew the property owner, it is probably right on. they do not claim the income and make it look like a loss, these are not corporations.

I have other experiences with this neighbor.

We moved to the country 25 years ago to get rid of idiot neighbors. They will degrade your property values right along with theirs. Find your little piece of heaven and build your retirement home. It's never too early.
All the land around us was eventually bought up by a nature preserve.

Neighbor parked partially blocking my driveway today....there is a 6 foot gap between the rear of her vehicle and the front of the vehicle behind her about to walk over and say something

Don't bother. Call the cops and have it ticketed and towed.

When I was a kid if we came a crossed a car blocking the side walk we would open the door, climb threw the car and out the other side leaving the doors open. Back then no one locked anything and cars didn't have timers on dome lights.

The renters do pay taxes, it's in the rent they pay the owner. Who then pays taxes. If taxes weren't payed, the town would take it over.

Yep they pay taxes as the owner passes them to the renters. Unfortunately, some renters just dont give a shit about the property as its not theirs. We owned rentals and it was a living, unfucking-believable daily ass-kicking, soul sucking nightmare experience. Kicked them out, sold the house, invested in REITs and never looked back.

Nobody ever said building value or wealth was easy. My SIL and her husband own a multi family, constant work.

What’s a neighbor? My nearest to the South are at least 1/4 mile. To the North almost the same.. East and West nada....

My parents always used to tell me if you can afford to live in one of those “nice neighborhoods” you can afford not too. Always stayed with that mantra. Of course there are places in the country this isn’t feasible.
