I thought the same. But didn’t want to waste a dedicated tank just for that.. these are great, disappear in the 3rd gens massive front end.

I mocked up my roof rack before install. Was thinking of putting my 2 thule crossbars over the cab for the cases in order to free up the basket for more cargo space for camping. What do you think?20180420_133629.jpgits the baja rack mega mule and Nanuk 995 cases

Did you just slice your BedRug to mount the stiffeners? I have a BR and was wondering if the stiffeners could be mounted on top instead of cutting the BR. . .probably not.

Just installed my Hikari Bulbs. Driver side is Hikari, Passenger is original. I can't wait to drive this tonight. If I'm right, these are well worth the money (on sale when I got them).

I hope the scatter/coverage is as good as this little taste test in daylight.

What Have I Done To my 3rd Gen Today ?

Went by the local tint shop for my appointment this morning. They did my '07 Frontier 4x4 some 11 years ago and it looked just as good on the day I traded it in for my Taco as the day they did it.

SunTek ceramic on windshield and front roll downs. Matched up well with factory tint on the other glass. I'll likely go back and have clear ceramic put on the rear roll downs and back glass, too. It really does stop the heat transfer. I'm happy. Thanks @RobP62 for your endorsement on SunTek.

You know how I roll, John !!!

Home from the tint shop and rolling with getting the coals fired up.

Gotta clean the utensils. I'm a big believer in "killing it with fire".

Doing a couple slabs of ribs......doing a comparison on rubs....one is my gold standard.....the other is a newcomer made by the fine folks whom make the best brisket rub on this planet.

    LMAO.

    I'm there, too.

Actually.....my Dad is better off than me. He's rocking his new knee and shooting a single digit handicap on the links.

My knees and right shoulder sound like I'm walking on ground glass sometimes. Good thing the gym plays loud music so I don't gross anyone out with my snap, crackle & pop noises. :benchpress:

For me if it didn't come on the package that you bought it's a mod. Put the same cover on mine and like it very much. I think you'll be very happy with it.

I washed it today. Tomorrow I may look at the running boards that have been sitting in my garage for over a month.

You can squeeze those in behind without having to remove the headlight for the low beams? is that just a heat sink or are those fans on the end

Did the rear dif breather mod. Yota tech should be a little more lenient with the hose for those of us with 6" lift. Also put these on. Would black them out, but would defeat the purpose. Lol20180420_192754.jpg

Yeah. Don’t try the run the rug under them as it is very tempting. You’ll probably do more worst than good because you will no longer have a good stiff surface to surface to bolt to especially on the bed mount bolts.
I sliced it. It cuts super easy.

Mounted up the Tepui today. It was a bitch with the Prinsu. I opted to not use the lock nuts supplied and put regular nuts on. Since the Prinsu is so low profile it makes it a real pain to get your hands in to tightens the mounting bolts down as I’ve read on here a lot.
Plenty of left over room for the bolts between the rack and paint though.
I opted to mount it ladder side off the back. No real reason than it’s easier to setup in a tight space for the night.
If the ladder seems to get in my way I can fold it up use the strap on the tent to hold it agains the cap window. It works out pretty good.
Now I just need a good day off work to take a nap in it. :)
