The 3leaf AAL shouldn’t do that. Deaver, HS, and Icon progressive 3leaf AAL are supposedly made by the same manufacturer . I have the 3 leaf ones with the overload left in and it wasn’t harsh at all when I didn’t have a shell.

3 leaf is a softer ride. It keeps the same spring rate as the stock pack, and the lift is gained from the actual thickness of the AAL. You shouldn't notice any difference in ride quality. The single AAL is one arched leaf that provides lift, and that's why it rides a little rougher (still not bad IMO)

I decided to go with Bilsteins and the OME 885 coils and the HS 3 leaf AAL. I'm just waiting on HS to get the AAL back in stock. I hope this will give me the same amount of lift I have now with the RC Lift.

I want this exact setup for my 2018.... did you end up putting in a rear lift at all, or did it even out from settling?

I ended up putting a 1" block in the rear as you could tell it had some sag back there.
The back end is a bit higher than the front now, but that's what I was hoping for. Looks perfect now IMO!

If I were to add a leaf, would that work with the Billy’s in the rear?

Yeah if you stay around 1-1.5" the 5100s should be fine. That's what the dealer did to my buddies truck. AAL with 5100s in rear.

    Didn't notice you quoted me!

Without touching the rear, the front was probably like half an inch taller than the rear...give or take a bit. It was noticeable, even after the front settled.

Awesome! Thanks for your response. I like the looks of your truck and will probably do the same lift with a head strong 3 leaf.

I'll be keeping the spacer, not sure. If u have to buy new control arms at the .85 setting I'll leave it at the 0 setting.
