I have the next best thing to nothing...two way radios. Plan is to have the leader whoever that may be stop at every fork in the trail and wait for everyone to catch up.

If there’s a somewhat difficult obstacle (if we do these) then obvi we would help spot one another because there’s some that haven’t really tested the trucks limits or have been to the park yet.

@Pella i should be arriving slightly before 9:30. Other fella from sac should be there at 9:37

My bumper went back together nicely. Unfortunately I don’t need that winch bumper as soon as I thought I did.

Interestingly enough while I was washing the truck I noticed mine was loose...

Gonna order my HAM tonight. What Freq. did you say that casual users can utilize? I thought everyone needed to be "certified"

They dont fit that tight to begin with. Either do the bumper caps on the back.

Im not certain but I think there is a frequency range thats supposed to be used by licensed ham operators. Depending on the level of certification, determines which frequencies your allowed to talk on. There are a ton of youtube videos on the different Baofeng handheld radios. I got mine last week and am just learning about it.

Interesting...I will do more digging into it. Reason why I didn't end up getting one last time was that I thought you needed to have your cert.

Next mod on my to do list is suspension. Theres a guy on CL selling a brand new 6112/5160 kit. I'm never going to rock crawl so I think that would be fine for my needs...for now lol

Hi, I'm planning to be there but know nothing about this area. May I join you and others? What exact place on map to meet? And the date is 04/21/2018 9:30AM right?

Unfortunately, the trip was last weekend on 4/12 but I am open on doing another Saturday trip. I only know the lower levels but @Pella and @greasem0nkey86 may have hit the higher trails. Anyone else down for a run?
