OK Ya all... 8 horns disapears into the front of the 3rd gen with ease... simple, cheap, easy install..

    Ok.. the horns are in!!!

Now for getting them in the truck.

Step 1.. get the grill out the way.

You could see that those two little stock horns needed to go.

Look at them.. so small and sad.

When you stack them next to the Cadilac horns.. just no contest.

Ok for mounting, I had to drill the holes out more than they came, but that is because I went with a tree format rather than a standard mount.

Measuring for fit. I bought a 36" threaded piece.. and just cut it to fit with a hacksaw.

My test fit had everything bouncing back and forth. I used simple nuts and washers to move everything to where I wanted and hold it in place.

Finally you can see how well everthing sits in the third gen. I just used some simple L brackets from the hardware store to mount everything up. I went for this instead of using the center column as I didn't want to block my radiator and I didn't want anything visible from the front.

This is driving along.. remember that my truck has an insane amount of sound proofing already.. I love that deep tone.

Out in the driveway... gotta love that echo! (pay no attention to the barefoot and pajamas.. its saturday.. dont judge me)

I also do custom orders, if you want a setup similar to @TSki. I can do four of a certain note, eight of dual ACDF, anything you can imagine. My eight horn system comes with a beefier relay harness than my four horn system.

The eight horn system uses a 40 AMP full-sized fuse compares to the standard sized 20 AMP fuse that comes standard, and includes a terminal block for easy wiring.

Yes, I'll want a 4 horn A C D F setup just like TSki's...not as wide, will need to take measurements of hole locations.

He actually has a custom 8 horn setup which is dual ACDF.

I only want 4, but set up in a similar fashion. The 24 inch setup you have won't fit in my 2nd gen...just about 2 inches too wide. There is a metal line in the way on the left. You can see it in TSki's photo. Mounting the horns sideways like he did solves the problem.
