A couple of thoughts after replacing my accessory drive belt:

    • I'm glad I bought two belts: a Dayco and Gates Micro V. I installed the Gates and plan to keep the Dayco as a spare.
    • The little sticker that shows the correct belt routing also has the necessary part number for replacement belts, spark plugs, and injectors. Also has a little diagram of important features on the supercharger unit itself. [IMG]
    • The Toyota-supplied belt is made by Dayco.
    • To release tension via the tensioner, use a 1/2" drive handle and turn clockwise.
    • The bigger the 1/2" drive handle, the better. I used a Wright 18" knurled drive handle. Model #4435. Made swapping the belts and releasing the tension enough to wrap the belt around the crank very easy. [IMG]
    • Following up from the above bullet point, the final wrap was around the crank, and not the supercharger pulley. One person job, baby.
    Hope this helps.

5, 10, and 15 psi were large... 20 is def useless but atleast its small.
I just couldnt find a big name gauge that stopped at 10 or 15 psi and i wanted the vac option as well as it being mechanical. I didnt want to play with sensors and add 1 more item into the loop to malfunction.

Theres almost always a genuine 10psi trd boost gauge on ebay for around $300-$400 sadly :(

I've done a mod or two
You know what's strange about the TRD gauge, it is listed on Camelbacks website as available for $117... I'm having trouble finding accurate mechanical gauges right now so I was thinking maybe SpeedHut or Defi since both seem like quality. Speedhut has the most useful range at 0-10psi with vacuum to 30inhg. At least for a 4cyl with blower

I’m running AEM X-series 0-15 psi. Downside is there is no vacuum gauge with it, just boost.

AEM X-Series gauges are top noth quality. You cannot go wrong and they are priced moderately for the value they have. I use the AFR gauge, but if I had to do it all over again I would switch out my Innovate boost gauge to the AEM.

I installed it poorly because after testing it I couldn't determine it's accuracy, plus it was a solid $20 haha

    AEM X-series

You WILL have to modify the cravenspeed gauge mount and add a little spacer AND extend the two thread pieces for these to work/fit. If you’re going with the x-series, check out my build thread on a recent page. I have pics posted of how I extended them.

The NAPA fuel filter, any precaution I need to take or anything I need to do before popping that thing off and replacing it?

Caffeine. I know I need caffeine.

For those of you who inserted your restrictor jet back in due to lean tip in issues, if you have a set of drill bits at home, it is my suggestion you remove the restrictor again and bore the hole already in place slightly larger to 5/64. This will remedy any boost loss/ building issues as well as remedy lean tip in issues due to the sudden heavy decrease/ increase in vacuum/ boost without having to replace the restrictor.
