Since it's just my wife, the dog and me ( kids have all moved on ) I'm considering moving from my gen 1 tundra DC to the 09' tacoma DC ( 4x4 long bed). The tacoma has 75,000 less miles.
Any folks out there make such a move? regrets?

Welcome aboard:hattip:. I went from a F-150 to a taco. Bought the long bed because could not go from 8ft to 5ft bed. Very happy with my decision:thumbsup::cheers:

I went from a 2005 Tundra Limited DC with 6' bed to a 2013 TRD Sport DCSB. Sold the Tundra to my dad. I do miss the V8 sometimes. But now I can pull into parking spots without doing a 10 point turn. I have the short bed though so I'm not sure how drastic that change is. I will tell you the amount of support and parts for the Tacoma is vastly greater than that of the 1st Gen Tundra. I couldn't even find aftermarket headlights for the thing unless I retrofitted. You'll enjoy the Taco, I do.
