What is the part number for the direct fit for the Tacoma in the Pros? I plan on using them with my high beams and avoid using a light bar. In my area the police are enforcing the law that says you cannot have more than four lights on and have been fining people using light bars.

Good. Significant fine is OK, impounding and crushing vehicle would be preferable.

Curious. Would love to hear how they define a "light." I was told this as well but my argument is that it was a single source light-output. A light is not defined by a single bulb.

    Here is Colorado:

"Whenever a motor vehicle equipped with head lamps as required in this Code is also equipped with
any auxiliary lamps or a spot lamp or any other lamp on the front thereof projecting a beam of an intensity
greater than three hundred candlepower, not more than a total of four of any such lamps on the front of a
vehicle shall be lighted at any one time when upon a highway. Any person who violates any provision of
this section commits a class B traffic infraction. "

Notice the word "Lamps." An LED bar is a single Lamp, each LED is NOT a Lamp.

Imagine if they where to fine you based on the number of leds. That could get expensive.

Here in Ontario Canada I know of a person that was fined having his light bar on. He had installed it on the roof of his Tundra and had wired to a switch to turn it on and off. Driving at night he forgot to turn it off going by the police on a rual two lane highway and got fined. I had a light bar on my '12 Tacoma which was wired to only come on with the high beams. Never had an issue with the cops but nervous about installing a light bar on my new Tacoma. I think the fine was around $350.

Once you try the Baja Design lights you’ll be hooked. Put Squadron Sport Driving on as ditch lights, now I’m looking at Pros to replace the fogs as off road lights.

Are these fog lights flat or oval? I have oval ones and are they plug and play or did you have to modify the brackets?

Slight sphere shape to them. A little more than flat, a lot less than stock.

    Plug and play

Doing the same thing! Just ordered the Baja Designs yesterday. While I love the Morimotos, I always wanted amber and the Lamin-X film on the Morimotos was PITA to install and wrinkled up, so I just took it off. The Morimotos are a huge step up from stock though.

I tried to install lamin-x on my factory fog lights and what a pain in the ass. I could never get the wrinkles out. I eventually stopped lol. I think lamin-x is made for flat lights

if you measure the diameter of the foglight, mine were 3 inchs you can use a jar or coffee mug as a template to trace them out and nicely cut them with a scissor and youll have plenty of sheet left if you screw up a couple applications to cut more. they look and work great, just use the water/soap solution and spray your hands/fingers before touching the adhesive side,or u get finger prints.also use a hairdryer it helps adhere them

Those are the SAE fogs and are DOT legal. I used to have a set before i added the front bumper and swapped to Baja Designs sport wide cornering in amber. I do miss having legal fogs but the trails at night get more lit up with the Bajas
