WINDOWBAR.jpg I know there are sevral options out there for this but I made one of these for my previous Taco and now I made and improved version for my current Taco.

    Materials used:
one carbon fiber arrow shaft cut to 11.5 inches (I work, okay that a lie I am employed on a gun counter at Cabela's and pilfered said arrow shaft out of the trash bin from cut arrows.

decoy string, I don't know exactly how long I had the string, but basically it was enough to pass through the arrow shaft tied in a square knot and then made the loop. after that I then wrapped the shaft in the decoy string so that it wouldn't vibrate in the channel as I am driving. It's a snug fit but that is what I wanted any way.

    Total cost, free so perfect.

The rear slider can be opened in less than 30 secs but after having my keys fall out of my hand once and pocket once in the past 3 years and seeing that the front doors are just about burglar proof, including moving the door handle, I'm hesitant to lock up the rear slider. A piece of welding wire was the key twice.
