    Yup. Very solid on there. May be a lot easier to do with no bumper in the way. I did not have that luxury.

    Yeah I know. Time is not on my side though. Just got back from powell to grab the stock grill and the new radiator. Think I can get the motor back together mostly tonight though.

    I'd have raptor lined it. I know my next set I will be doing that. Current ones are beat to hell

    I was not super concerned about the 1/2" wide flat surface against the AC line. If it had been a sharp edge, it would have been different. Plus it was tight up against the line. Not like it can bang into it. I did put a thin piece of plastic split loom sleeve on the line which you can see in this photo.

    I just took this view from above about 5 minutes ago. Looks like 3 years of mounting it this way has had no impact or wear on the AC line.

    My fluid path is through the radiator, then through the cooler then back to the trans.

    right so did you just use a barb fitting from the cooler to the stock line back to the tranny or run new line?

    I really can't remember for sure. :oops:

    It makes sense to run a new line from the cooler all the way back to the trans hard lines. Make sure the kit came with a long enough line to do that. I'm pretty sure that is what I did.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    You shouldn't need to go all the way back to the trans. Just have the lines go; stock input line from trans to rad can stay, join output of rad to input of new cooler, join output of new cooler to stock trans return line. Can do it all with some rubber 3/8 line

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I haven't needed to change the one on the cruiser, it never gets hot and is half the width if the rad but I've done two now on friends Jeeps and they're cake. If it uses a threaded end I just cut them off and flare em with a brake flaring tool so there won't be the chance of a line accidentally blowing off.

    It isn't all the way back to the trans. It's back to the hard lines from the trans. IIRC, the hardlines run up along the frame to about half way to the front of the engine.

    I would just get a longer hose and not use something to connect two pieces of hose together. Seems like another point of failure to me.
