    Hello everyone!!

I just picked up my 2018 Tacoma Off Road last weekend and love it!!

    C56FEF3C-51F0-4EFA-96BE-873A804CE43D.jpg 5695E783-4F69-4074-924B-DBF26CCCDB7E.jpg D3535A17-24BD-4C56-980B-A09482B673A8.jpg

I have never been off roading before and really want to get out there as soon as possible. I’m just a little worried about what my limits are in this stock truck?

I hope to pick up some running boards in the next few weeks and will possibly lift and get some bigger wheels/tires down the road but finances don’t permit that right now and I’d love to get out there ASAP.

Please, any advise you may have would be greatly appreciated.

beat me to it @Kinsail48 Looks like you have GY duratracs on it already, and, either way they are not the GY wrangler all-terrain w/Kevlar. You can do more than you think in that truck, best advice is go drive it, with common sense, and see how it operates in the conditions you will use it. Enjoy it as is, there is plenty to do when the $ permits. In the meantime you can do minor mods, cheap Tacoma mods.

Awesome tires. Had them on my last taco. They lasted a long time and were awesome off road and in the snow.

Yes it came from the dealership with GY Wrangler Duratracs.

I’m hoping to get up to Tray Mountain North GA next weekend but reviews have mentioned not tackling with a stock truck which got me a little concerned.

I’m Appreciating the comments, thank you!

Welcome to TW! If you plan on off-roading you might want to look into getting some sliders instead of running boards.
