Will a mechanic work on a vehicle that has been in a rollover? The truck is not terribly damaged but the engine may be a little out of place. Would a mechanic be reluctant to replace the clutch on a moderately damaged vehicle?

You could probably find someone that would, your insurance paying he/she to do so... probably not.

define out of place. The clutch is a drop the transmission job. If the engine is so out of place that he can’t get the tranny to stab back into the engine properly then I can see this turning into a problem.

If it's been in a roll over sounds like a dedicated offroad rig. Replacing the clutch us a easy job. I would try it solo. After all more stuff you do yourself in money in your pocket and you get more pride in your truck.
