Do you remember the thickness of steel you used for the lock brackets? Looks like 3/16". May copy you.

i used 3/16 Randy, just a precaution for my moab trip.

 

It's definitely a good idea. Even with the locking cap it'd be nice to have a little extra security and it's super easy to do.

I don’t know why but your truck looks massive compared to mine. Maybe I need the cut the fenders more lol

 

if i could i wouldnt have cut as much lol. Im actually cut and bashed for 37s but not sure if i want to go that route. mileage already sucks

 

added anderson powerpoles in the cab and redid some of my cig power adapters to take the new poles. These should serve better for my devices.

did oil and bleed the brakes

helped a buddy install his new bff hc bumper

replaced oem coil packs with supercoils and wrapped the cap windows

 

frame plug kit installed, these wont be coming out unless you want to break them

 

What are they plugging.

 

the plug the inner and outer holes on the frame and cross supports. in earlier year tacomas, they do not have these plugs. New tacomas do come with them so you dont have to worry.
