If someone would start making and sale these I would buy some. I know I would screw them up.

Having recently done this, I can tell you that I screwed up one side (my hole was too big) so I cut the socket off the original turn signal and epoxied it over my hole, worked great!

Hey Monte... any idea what the part number for this part is? (I might actually get around to doing the blinker relocation mod!)

I just did this a few weeks ago. If you guys are worried about drilling the hole, i used a 1 1/8" hole drilling bit so it was nice neat circle to mount the light in. I used the stock clear lights though, hopefully that doesnt matter come inspection time again lol

Go slow, start with a small hole and slowly make it bigger. You can do it.

@tymeson you need to do this mod.

If you have access to a dremel, I'd recommend used this when cutting the hole. It's a lot easier then trying to use a drill bit.

What he said ^ Also, if you have someone with you, they can hole a shop vac nozzle to *help* prevent any plastic shavings from ending up inside the light

Could always heat up a pipe and use that. I did that and it sped up the process. Then clean it up with a dremel

If you don't plan on running the stock turn signals after the mod, it's way easy to graft the original socket onto the corner light housing (if your hole is too big)

I tried a dremel for one side and a heated pipe for the other, Pretty sure it was the pipe I messed up with, totally user error - but seriously, used the socket from the oem turn signal and epoxied it to the corner light housing, haven't had an issue since, and that side is much simpler to replace a bulb.

Here's my version. Worked really well. But I disagree that this mod is free. By the time you add up my bumper, skid plates, and wiper fluid reservoir relocation, this mod cost me like $800, lol

I'm about to tackle this on my 2000. I'm going to cut a hole using the 1" pipe method. I'm wanting to put 1156a LED's in my front turn signals since the bulb will be so close to the lense. Question: if I swap the relay to an LED, will I have any blinking issues even though my rear bulbs are still incandescent?

If you swap the flasher you won't get hyper blink. Think its the ep35 that goes right in the OEM spot under the dash on the back side if the interior fuse box.
