You can get adapter and hook it up, but I don't see you using anywhere near 5lb tank in a week of camping unless you are trying to be chief Ramsey

even then those 5lbs last. I think I have filled my 5lb twice since 2016 when I first went out east. Once When I bought it, and once last year when I was out in New Brunswick. That even includes when I tried to make hot chocolate during that one snow run where we all froze, but got to eat Leos meat......I ran those burners for ever....

How did you hook up your fridge to run off the single battery? Via cigarette lighter?
I have one idea how to do it but not sure.
Going to grab a H7 size battery, should be plenty for me. Truck is never off for more than 24 hours at a time.

I directly hot-wired it to a battery and chopped the 12v arb plug to connect it, worked fine for me.

So you guys have been talking about these 'jet boil' things. I remember a few years ago when I got into endruo motorcycles, I bought all the camp gear. Single person tent, and such things. Just had no idea where I had put it all. This morning I was cleaning up an area in my spare room I keep all my random stuff, and I found the lost treasure!

Nice finding things you forgot you even had.

I hate and love when that happens. On one hand you completely forgot about stuff that you had purchased and could have used. On the other hand, happy surprises.

To avoid late comers to the trip we are going to close the date to join by July. This way plans can be set, and we can figure it out based on numbers.

Also we will cap the amount of vehicles at 8 as the campsites and trail will take long

Yes we weight our options and we did not want to regret getting a smaller one, when the price is not that much different for the 50

I just want it for food. should be more than enough space.
Cooler will still be for beer and water.
