Orange County CAF's: up to no good

Well that pretty much explains it! I am fairly new to this shit, but I can understand your guys frustration with seeing the same dumb ass threads popping up with ridiculous questions. I don't think I asked any of those questions myself however. The front end is what I personally like most about my trucks appearance over the other gens. To each their own huh. Thanks for the clarification tho. Do you also not like the current gen 4runners? I too think the 5th gen 4runners front end looks better than the previous gens.

 

I like the look of the 5th gen front and think its a sharp looking ride although I hear the seats can be harsh compared to the trusty third and 4th gen runners. As far as the look of the third gen taco, the front end keeps me away from them as well although this is a good thing as I don't have any drive at all for a third gen from the horror stories (not that they affect everyone) and just the overall look. It doesn't help that fiberglass panels on a third gen havnt really grown on me either.

My last gripe is the community of third gens right now, most are quick to throw out any fraction of info they can on something and are quick to bash/attack others in a heated convo. I know on a forum this happens with everyone and at one time the second gen community is where these folks used to reside. Overall though, all these factors solidy my continued pride in what I have...but this is just my opinion. If you like the truck, take pride and enjoy the ride!

 

Yes I see a whole lot of stupid heated convos on here with the 3rd gen owners as well, but as you said this was once where second gen owners were. One day well be saying the same thing about 4th gen owners.... rinse and repeat. I take great pride in my truck and I am learning everyday. Thanks for the insight.

What about the Gas cap holder thread (people actually pay money to add ANOTHER cap holder... SMH), or the fucking thread where the guy was complaining about water on his backup camera when it is raining...... There's definitely some stupid shit in here....
