Looking to get more level and run less offset wheel. What are the pros and cons of doing either of these?

I did the toytec spacer (3/4”) top plate spacer and I am happy with it. Leveled the truck out and didn’t screw up the geometry too much. I know everyone on here hates spacers but I don’t see a problem if it is a small spacer such as the one I did. I definitely wouldn’t put a bigger one on there tho

How complicated of an install was the spacer? Do you take the strut off completely?

    1. Chock wheels
    2. Crack Lugs
    3. Jack up truck using jack point, looks like a ball/bowl on front end
    4. Take wheels off
    5. Put truck on blocks
    6. Unbolt sway bar linkage
    7. Loosen cam bolts (both, on LCA) Mark the cambolt and LCA so that
you can align enough to get roughly aligned before taking to shop to get professional alignment.
    8. Place floor jack under LCA ball joint bracket
    9. Unbolt LCA ball joint bracket (two bolts)
    10. Loosen lower shock bolt but don't remove nut completely just yet
    11. Unbolt 3 top hat bolts from top of strut assembly
    12. Lower floor jack to allow entire strut assembly to come out, while
take lower shock bolt out as well.
    13. Place Spacer on top of three bolts
    14. Re-assemble it using reverse steps.

It's not that bad. Replacing springs is another step, but just as easy-ish

Someone edit my post if you see missing or incorrect steps.

    Good luck!

***EDIT*** You may not need to loosen cambolts on LCA when installing such a small spacer, because you don't necessarily to need to drop the entire assembly out. I did, only because I was replacing my shocks with 5100s at the same time as adding the spacer.
