    6 hr drive, one way for me. But it's right on my path headed home to Indiana.
    I know I'm headed that way for memorial day weekend and 4th of July, just not sure I have any days left to make this.

    Wouldn't mind wheeling with you Kentucky peeps if I can squeeze it in.

Overland Truck cap, Cover King Tactical seat covers, OME BP-51 full suspension and dakars, SPC adjustable UCA's, Husky Floor Mats, Mobtown Off-road sliders, Cali Raised light bar and ditch lights and bed stiffeners, mobtown off-road front ifs skid, uniden bearcat CB Amd firestick. Now a super fancy stock truck!
    Ohhhhhhh hmmmmmm that’s a tuff one..... dunno if it will be reliable......

    Well not too much from Harbor Freight is reliable, but from everyone that I have read, unless you're a full time mechanic, it is pretty accurate compared to others.

    Harbor Freight is one of those places that everyone always gives shit but almost my entire tool bag is from there and the stuff works fine.

    Back in "the good ol' days" tool purchases were tax deductable.......plus some of us had jobs where our employers paid a percentage of tool purchases....

    And SnapOn tools are worth their weight in gold if you use 'em much.

    What I paid $9k for 35 years ago would cost 4x that today. There are a few perks to being old

    Cut & broke off some stuff.
    Remember that torque wrenches should state accuracy as a % and are only good within certain ranges. A 1/2 inch drive set at anything under maybe 30ftlb is questionable. And since accuracy is a percent, you've got a wider possible error range trying to hit 120ftlb versus error range at 50ftlb.

    Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
    I can’t attest to the accuracy but my harbr freight torque wrench hasn’t broken yet.

    Get 2. A 3/8 drive and a 1/2 drive.
    Big one is nice on lugs, control arms, etc where you want some leverage.
    Small one good for spark plugs, drain plugs, or other small parts where you don't want to overdo it accidentally.

    You are so right on this.
    The transfer case uses a 10mm hex bit for the drain and fill plugs. I only have the one bit in 3/8 drive, but no 3/8 torque wrench to get them to exact spec. Surely, they'll be a bitch to take off next fluid change.
